“A Day Out with SO
Is it the only way, for one to go?
It all just seemed too good to be true
I had to scratch my head in sceptic disbelief
What I had read, just came out of the blue
Not a trace of ulterior motive, or hidden agenda
It seems for real, and I can feel the splendour
Someone wanting to give without a return
In a world that wants to take and charge
Rather than to give or earn.
So, thank you for a lovely day
You ticked all the boxes, and you’re on your way
To put smiles on faces, and hope renew
Many thanks to God above
For people with hearts like you xxx”

SO Festival: Connecting with our Communities
Why we joined Without Walls
We LOVE being part of the Without Walls network! It is such a fantastic way to bring new work to our audience whilst simultaneously supporting the artists! SO Festival aims to attract audiences from the regions least engaged areas to experience the very best in culture and outdoor arts and without the support from Without Walls, due to budget cuts, we wouldn’t be able to do this. It means we can programme more work for our growing audience to enjoy.
Since SO Festival began in 2009, although our format has changed a few times, we continue to grow our community in different ways. We have provided light-hearted and thought-provoking entertainment for the whole family for 12 years! We have become well known within our districts and the support from our audience is astounding.
In more recent years, we have increased our support for established and emerging creatives in our area. In collaboration with Barmpot Theatre, we have launched the county’s biggest online networking group for creatives – Lincs Creatives’ Hub – where guidance, support and opportunities are shared regularly.
Along with Magna Vitae’s other vital health and wellbeing services, we are an essential part of the district. We continue to work with our community, more now than ever, to help us shape our offerings to best fit what they really want and need. They are the reason we exist.
