Joli Vyann

Timeless (working title) will centre around a structure approximately 6-7m high shaped like an hourglass. Joli Vyann will base the show around the idea that an hourglass is an emblem of human life, symbolising the eternal passage of time.

There are two capsules, one at each end of the structure. The hourglass rotates 360-degrees and the capsules will be enclosed. Performers will dance and move inside the capsules, outside and on the floor area below the structure. The structure can be locked in place as well as rotating so that the performers can use the structure from the inside and outside.

For this project, Joli Vyann will work with Julian from Cirque Bijou and Alex from Ockham’s Razor for technical counselling.
