R&D AWARD WINNERS 2012 ANNOUNCED

After receiving over 260 submissions for our Research and Development Awards 2012, the Without Walls consortium have carefully selected 12 artists and companies to receive an award of between £2000 and £5000 to invest in the creative development of their ideas. REQUARDT AND ROSENBERG’S MOTOR SHOW OPENS TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM

Motor show, the second collaboration between experimental theatre director David Rosenberg and choreographer Frauke Requardt, opened in Brighton earlier this month to critical acclaim. Requardt and Rosenberg here build on the success of 2010′s Electric Hotel bringing to life the otherwise dull surroundings of a desolate car park to set the scene for their ‘motorised ballet’, combining character work, choreography and a richly atmospheric score by Ben and Max Ringham.
