ON EDGE

Justice In Motion

Dance, Theatre

Justice in Motion marry exciting choreography and parkour athletics with beauty and humour, to tell a stimulating, moving tale that asks – what does freedom really mean?

Atop towering scaffolding, a group of men ricochet around a building site. Their routine may give a sense of purpose and security yet behind the perimeter fencing, all is not as it first appears.

The riveting, stunning ON EDGE performance involves an international cast including leading parkour athletes. Join them before the show to explore the sensational freedom of moving around the parkour construction site.

… Come and play!

Told with breath-taking energy and fast-paced athletic choreography on a vertiginous parkour ‘construction site’, ON EDGE reveals the plight of vulnerable and exploited workers found in industries throughout the world every day.

The astonishing, adrenaline-fuelled, gravity-defying moves of the international cast are mesmerising. The story eye-opening and hard-hitting, inextricably weaving in beauty and humour.

Inspired by joy. Informed by truth. Sustained by hope.

In an exploration of freedom, Justice in Motion and the Inspire parkour community collaborate on a unique production, telling a powerful and moving story as well as encouraging members of the public to discover the joy of movement on the mobile parkour park before the show.

‘On Edge is a physically demanding and exhilarating performance with a lyrical beauty combined with some heart-stopping parkour moves.’
