Egg Rolling is a big tradition in Preston going back hundreds of years. Each year brings an eclectic mix of workshops, street theatre and live music. This year three great Without Walls shows were part of the programme, along with a very exciting Easter Bonnet competition and the famous Egg Rolling. April set to be an egg-xcellent month for ATN Partners!

This year the ATN activities start very early, with Preston City Council and Yorkshire Festival bringing to their audiences six Without Walls shows, as well as some fantastic audience development activities. Revealed: Without Walls’ 2017 programme!

  14 new shows will be supported by Without Walls for nationwide touring in 2017. These will premiere at our partner festivals and can be seen for free at many of the UK’s leading outdoor arts festivals throughout the summer. Without Walls open call is now closed

Thank you to all the artists who have submitted proposals to Without Walls this year. The Open Call is now closed. The Without Walls Partner Festivals will review all submissions received and start selecting a programme for 2017 in the coming weeks. Shortlisted projects will be notified on the week commencing 28th November. We will then inform you by the week of December 12th 2016 whether your project has been supported. ATN 2016-2018: Family engagement and Festival Ambassadors at SO Festival

Engaging with family groups was a priority for So Festival in Skegness. Funded by Without Walls, the festival worked with Infinite Arts, an organisation which encourages young people to explore their creativity through participatory activities. In the run-up to the festival, two full-day workshops took place in two local schools, which engaged with 60 pupils.
