Wired Aerial Theatre, led by artistic directors Wendy Hesketh-Ogilvie and Jamie Ogilvie conceived bungee-assisted dance when they met in 2000 while performing with the groundbreaking De La Guarda aerial theatre company. Since then Wired Aerial Theatre have become world reknowned experts in aerial consultation and their hugely entertaining, gasp-worthy productions have combined everything from contemporary dance and physical theatre, to flying, gymnastics and climbing. Based at their centre for aerial excellence, The Higher Space in Liverpool, they continuously push the boundaries of their genre, creating cutting-edge work that can take anyone's breath away.
This summer sees a UK festival tour of their site specific aerial show, Rosa's Bar, and a newly commissioned piece, Straw Dog from award-winning choreographer Henri Oguike commissioned by Without Walls.
